The nice thing about music is that it has no limits. That doesn’t mean we necessarily like everything we hear, but that everything we hear can be turned into something we like. All it might take for the transformation is a little imagination. Or maybe a lot of imagination…

Witness these two pieces, posted by Utne. In one, a dry cleaner is turned into a musical instrument, and the result is quite chipper. In the other, a beach becomes the symphony hall, and the result is like a science fiction movie. In both cases, imagination conquers expectation. We can do anything, if we really want to.
