Only one of the suggested treats are available in our area!

Too bad the healthier snacks come with such hefty price tags!! I agree that for my own family it would certainly be a consideration, however 'treating' the neighborhood youth to them would put too much of a strain on our wallet!

I would hate to spend the money on these healthy treats, when I know the kids are going to throw them out when they get home!! I know thats what I did as a kid. I think its up to the parents to teach their child how to eat their candy in moderation. I think its a great idea in theory though, and I will consider purchasing these products for my family!

We think children get to much junk food daily. I think Giving healthy treats on Halloween is a great idea. I'm giving fat free and low sugar cookies and candies and fat free pretzels.

The cost of these (other than gum or pretzels) would only work in a VERY small neighborhood. Who spends $.50 to over a dollar per child on Halloween treats? I decided to be friendly, share sugary treats freely with the neighbors who like it and make sure my kids don't get in to it..

I'm laid off, and I get about 100 kids. Many of these are luxury treats. Things I'd think about for my family; certainly not for 100 kids. I'll give boxes of raisins or pretzels.

Who would give out a juice box for Halloween? This is just weird!

Be aware, artificial colors have been band in all the EU, UK and Canada as of the last 3 years. as they damage kids brains in first 12 years. Use google to verify the info. Also go to LiveScience.com We were once as a nation first and second in science and math, now 24th and 25th. This demise started around 40 years ago when they were introduced. The colors are made from tare or bugs. The high achievers today are those from other countries such as Asia and middle east. Check ingredients

The treats are tasty but hello - not everyone is on such a flamboyant budget right now to even afford to step foot in a whole foods store! Well, these are good ideas for starters but - they should have made a low cost list - such as generic brand raisins, generic brand pretzels in little bags and some of the cheaper organic picks like 100% fruit leather. Plus - they recommend going to whole foods but I find better prices on many of the same things at other stores. It made me think about ideas.

I think this is a great list of healthy treats, but the pricesare ridiculous for a halloween treat. I would go broke if I gave every kid a $2.99 bag of candy. Healthy, yes; realistic, no way.
