Cheddar Fondue

Kids are more likely to try a new food if they've helped prepare or cook it. Have kids help measure ingredients for this great after-school treat.

You Will Need
1/4 cup butter, cut into cubes
3 tablespoons flour
1 1/2 cups milk
1 pound grated cheddar cheese
Apple slices for dipping

What to Do
1. Melt butter over low heat in small pot.

2. Add flour; whisk well. Slowly add milk.

3. When warm, add cheese a bit at a time, stirring till melted. Serve with apple slices.

Makes: 4-6 snacks
