"Jack It Up" Burger Recipe

Yield: 6 to 8 servings

You Will Need

2 pounds fresh ground round
[1/2] Vidalia onion, minced
1 egg white
1 cup of Jack Daniel’s whiskey
1 TB. Worcestershire sauce
1 TB. molasses
1 TB. A-1 Steak Sauce
1 clove of garlic, minced
Salt & pepper, to taste
1 cup sliced mushrooms
[1/2] Vidalia onion, sliced
1 TB. butter
6-8 Kaiser buns

What to Do

1. In a bowl, mix together the ground beef, minced onion, egg white, whiskey, Worcestershire sauce, molasses, A-1 Steak Sauce, garlic and salt and pepper to taste. Shape into 6 to 8 patties. Grill until done to your liking.

2. Meanwhile, place mushrooms and onions on a piece of foil, dot with butter and fold foil to seal. Grill until mushrooms and onions are tender.

3. When meat is done, grill buns, cut sides down, until light brown.

4. Serve burgers on toasted buns, topped with mushrooms and onions.
