1.Cut copper tubing cleanly with a tube cutter. Clamp the pipe between the cutting wheel and the guide wheel and rotate the cutter, scoring the pipe all the way around. Tighten the cutter knob a quarter turn and rotate the cutter again, scoring the pipe deeper. Continue tightening and rotating the cutter until the pipe snaps off, about eight turns in all.

I have soldered copper pipes for years. But the new push-on connectors for Copper pipe are so much easier and can be disconnected and reconnected as needed. Makes the job so much quicker and less aggravation!
