Salmon Croissant Recipe

Rich salmon filling on a delicate croissant. Delicious with a salad or fresh fruit.

What You Need

SALMON SALAD FILLING
1/3 cup canned salmon, drained, skin and round bones removed, flaked
2 tbsp. finely chopped red pepper
1 tbsp. salad dressing (or mayonnaise)
1 tsp. lemon juice
salt, sprinkle
pepper, sprinkle
1 tbsp. finely chopped green onion (optional)
1 croissant, split



What to Do

Salmon Salad Filling: Combine first 7 ingredients in small bowl. Makes about 1/2 cup filling.

Spread filling evenly on bottom half of croissant. Cover with top half.

1 salmon croissant: 430 Calories; 24.9 g Total Fat (9 g Mono, 4.7 g Poly, 8.9 g Sat); 84 mg Cholesterol; 34 g Carbohydrate; 2 g Fiber; 17 g Protein; 616 mg Sodium

Sorry...but there is no such thing as a healthy dish that includes the word "croissant" in it. The mayonnaise doesn't help either...
