Spiced Pecans

Pecans are coated in sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ground cloves to create this warm holiday treat.

You Will Need
2 cups pecan halves
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

What to Do
1. Heat oven to 325°F. Line a large cookie sheet with foil; set aside.

2. Melt butter in a large skillet over low heat. Add pecans and toast 15 minutes, until lightly browned, stirring often. Transfer with a slotted spoon to a plate lined with paper towels to drain.

3. Combine sugar and spices in a large bowl. Add pecans and toss to coat. Spread on prepared cookie sheet. Bake 10 minutes. Cool completely on wire rack. Store in an airtight container.
