Steps 5 to 8

5. Lay the steel rule between two rows of hearts and carefully tear along it. Tear the card between every row, and then between every heart, until they are torn all torn out.

6. Stick a self-adhesive pad onto the back of each heart and stick one into the middle of each frame.

7. Fold the sheets with the wedding details and slide one into each card.

8. Tie a length of embroidery thread around the spine of each card to hold the sheet in place. Thread a bead onto each end of the thread and tie a knot to hold it in place. Trim the ends of the thread.

While on the freeway in Los Angeles, I was behind a pack of cars. The last driver was on the phone and drifting all over the road. This did not escape the attention of a California Highway Patrol officer, who snuck up behind her and said over his loudspeaker, "If you can't stay in your lane while on the phone, pull over until the call is completed." Immediately eight cars pulled over.
