1. Dip the scrubber in a solution of 1 teaspoon dishwashing liquid to two gallons of water. Squeeze excess water from the scrubber.

I have been using this method for a long time but there is an additional thing you could add to make the windows sparkle and stay cleaner longer by adding a few drops of Jet Dry to the water with the dishwashing detergent.
