2. Cut the 1x6 mounting cleat in half at a 45-degree angle. For safety before cutting, screw it to a firm work surface with one edge overhanging 3 in. Use one half of the mounting cleat in place of the top 1x2 on the back Peg-Board panel.

Hey...looking for a similar garage storage cabinet design i recall seeing in a 2003 issue. 2 large side by side doors swing open on piano hinges, and latch to wall. Storage system similar to a refrigerator, dimensions 45W x 16-18"D x 60"H. Any details? Thanks!

Steve... Frank thinks this is a THREE-part cabinet, not a TWO part cabinet. He thinks that there are two "sides" which are meant to fold over the "middle" cabinet - one from the left, and one from the right - and meet in the center, making the center twice the size as the sides. That is not the case because the art on the left side is only meant to illustrate what the base cabinet looks like. (We can tell that from the dotted lines, yes? I think I am correct.)

Frank, look at picture 5 and you'll see that one side is larger than the other. Also note in Picture 1 that the left side is a 1X8 and the right side is a 1X6. It'll fold just fine, with the right side going in first, then the left.

It appears to me that the two doors can never close since they are the same dimension as the center cabinet which hangs on the wall! The two side cabinets need to be half the dimension of the center cabinet so they can close and be latched. You never showed a completed picture of the completed cabinet so this was obviously overlooked> Frank
