Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz, the American Pickers on the History Channel, travel from barn to outbuilding across the United States looking for secondhand treasures to buy and resell. In their new book, American Pickers Guide to Picking (Hyperion, $24.99), the two offer a list of money-fetching brands to look for. Are any of these in your attic or garage? If so, find an appraiser at the American Society of Appraisers (appraisers.org).
