Carnegie Melon professor, husband, and father of three Randy Pausch lost his battle with pancreatic cancer on July 25. In September of 2007, knowing he had little time left, Pausch delivered a last lecture unlike any other. Despite his prognosis, he delivered an upbeat, joke-filled lecture about the importance of achieving your childhood dreams, managing time, and, above all, loving every minute of life. Though millions watched his lecture and read his best-selling book, Pausch said he delivered the lecture for his kids, three under the age of 6.
