1. Mix baking
soda with
just enough
water to form a
thick paste.
Apply the paste
to the stain and
lay a wet paper
towel over the
paste to keep it
moist.

2. Wet a rag with a solvent such as
nail
polish remover and rub away stains.
Use white rags to avoid staining the
countertop with fabric dye.

3. Apply a protective coating to
prevent
stains. Spray or wipe on a product
meant for countertops and wipe off the
excess.

I spray my laminate countertop stains with clorox clean-up, a bleach cleaner. The stains disappear in seconds!

or you can just use scrubbing bubbles bathroom cleaner. spray on, leave few seconds wipe off. Also the best thing I ever used to get stains off outside of fridge and freezer. Also good for edges of floors, (the dark buildup) spray on wait few seconds mop. rinse well.
