I dont know whether this many calories 15 g fat 6 g saturated fat 228 g cholestral are good-If it is LDL not good for diabetic What is transgenic fat content also needs publishing. Would it not make more sense to avoid all meat egg and turn vegan

I agree, way too many carbs and too sweet to start off the day. The omelet was an excellent choice, but not mention is steel cut oats.

These are healthy??? Not by my standards!! Too many carbs, too much cholesterol. Someone there needs to really look into "healthy" because these recipes are NOT>

Me and my wife are bad diabetics, to even think of eating some of these recipes with tons of CARBs is impossible for either of us.

According to what I learned about carbs, there are just toooooooooo many for me to consider most of the "wonderful" breakfasts you're putting before us. Everyone's different, but I was told 90 carbs a day and one of these recipes has 68! Too much for me. Thanks anyways.

My hospital dietician taught me to count the carbohydrates. Divide everything into "choices". A choice contains 15 grams of carbohydrates. A person my size (large frame & 6' tall) should eat around 15 choices per day. I don't see any consistancy when reading the other comments but I can testify that it dropped my A1C into the normal range from slightly out of the normal. I am thrilled with my system. No meds

Although these recipes look yummy and may be helpful for energy levels, I don't think a nutritionist would recommend them for a diabetic--the carb count is too high, as has been noted in other comments. (Recipe #5 was OK with 13 carbs)

Katie, there are "good carbs" (whole grains, fruits, veggies) and "bad carbs" (refined products) but changing to eggbeaters, skim milk, lo-fat cheese don't do anything to change the carbs, because these are for lower fat, not lower carbs. In fact, many things labeled "low fat" actually add sugar or other refined products and contain more "bad carbs."

these recipies may great for people who are trying to ward off diabeties, but I already have it and need to eat much less carbs. I agree, 1 food item to last the whole morning.....not for me!!!

Your lucious pictures show multiple slices of toast, waffles etc. but no indication of what the serving size really is. With high carb count to begin with on many recipes this information is critical.

I was told that there are good carbs that are ok for a diabetic.....and some of the recipe's can be altered with things like egg beaters, lo fat cheese, skim milk. I guess each person is different, thus the variety!

45-60 carbs per meal? No way! My endocrinologist recommends no more than 90 for the day, prefereably less, and no more than 15 at a time. I agree there are too many carbs in most of these recipes. Andhave just one muffin for an entire breakfast? Give me a break!

I notice every one of these recipes are LOADED with carbs , that always elevate my suger level, thus these are NOT for me ! Besides some are heavy in phosphorus which is bad for my dialysis diet!

I agree with elsagonz. Too many carbs in these recipes. Thye berry smoothie has 36 cards. Even if you deduct 7 for the fiber you are left with 29 carbs at breakfast and the rest of the day to go.

You should have between 45 - 60 carbs each meal if you are a women and 60 - 85 carbs for a man. These vary on height and how much you exercise each day. My best recommendation is to consult a Diabetes Center.
