About Our Survey

Find out more about how we conducted our poll of young voters in the 2008 election.

Massachusetts polling firm SocialSphere Strategies conducted an online survey for Reader's Digest between March 10 and March 14. A total of 797 men and women between the ages of 18 and 29 responded. Our sample was composed of slightly fewer men than women (393 versus 404) and a few more 18- to 24-year-olds (414) than 25- to 29-year-olds (383). Eight percent of respondents are still in high school; 38 percent are currently enrolled in college or graduate school.
