The first winter in our new house, I spent hours hanging Christmas lights around our porch and windows. One day as I was clearing the porch after the first snowfall, the snowblower snagged the plug end of the lights, which was buried in the snow. In seconds, the lights were ripped from the windows, porch and eaves and neatly wrapped around the blower blades.
