I was feeling like Johnny-on-the-spot to be so promptly vacuuming up dust from the drywall I’d sanded that morning—at least until my sister started shouting, “Turn it off!” I turned to see a huge cloud of dust in the air. After earlier taking care of a water spill with the wet/dry shop vacuum, I’d forgotten to reinstall the dust filter.
