While remodeling our kitchen, my husband decided to take the cabinets down by himself. I went on an errand and came home to find him sitting in a chair, pale and shaken, staring at a collection of very large knives and even a meat cleaver, spread before him on the table. It seems I forgot to tell him that I always store our large kitchen cutlery on the very top of one cabinet, “safely” away from the kids. Needless to say, he got a real shocker when he was removing that cabinet from the wall and knives rained down around him.
