Not long ago, my garbage disposer just quit working. The
unit wasn’t that old, so I checked to make sure it wasn’t jammed
and the reset button wasn’t tripped. I decided it was just plain bad
luck, so I replaced it with a new one. It took about an hour to replace. I
turned the power on and flicked the switch, but nothing happened. I flicked the
wall switch back and forth and still nothing. Then it dawned on me to test the
wall switch. Yep. That was it. I bought a new switch, and everything worked out
fine—well, almost—anyone need a good used
disposer?
