Last summer I decided to do some electrical work on my back porch. I wasn’t sure which breaker controlled the current to the area and didn’t feel like running back and forth each time to check the power, so I decided to use my son’s portable radio as an aid. I plugged it in, turned up the volume and went downstairs to flip breakers. Well, I flipped every last breaker and I could still hear the radio blaring. Then I decided to flip the main breaker off. I could still hear it. I ran upstairs and unplugged the radio, only to have it keep playing! Then I read this on the back of the radio: “Two-way Power. 120v AC or 9v DC.”
