While changing the sink fixture and drain in our master bathroom, I wanted to make sure that everything I reused was good and clean. So I took the drain parts into the hall bathroom, which is adjacent to the master bath. After about 10 minutes of washing, I returned to the master bath to find the floor totally flooded. Only then did I realize that the two bathrooms shared a common drain line.
