Before leaving for our extended summer vacation, I thought I’d play it safe and pull the circuit breakers for all the nonessential electrical outlets. Making sure all the necessary circuits for security lights, refrigerator and answering machine were left on, we departed. After a great vacation, we pulled into the garage and nearly passed out from the unspeakable odor. You guessed it—the freezer in the garage was on one of the circuits I pulled. Now I’ve red-tagged that breaker to match the color of my face when I discovered my great goof!
