A friend of mine rounded up a group to make some much-needed repairs on his storage shed. We each picked out tasks and got to work. The sawhorses were in use, so I suggested we do our cutting on the flat bottom of his 16-ft. johnboat. We had only sawed a few boards when we discovered a long saw cut through the bottom of the boat. Needless to say, our fishing trip that summer was canceled. I wonder if he’ll call me for future projects.
