- 3 medium beets, steamed, peeled, and sliced or 1 jar (15 ounces) sliced beets, drained

In medium nonstick skillet over medium heat, toast pecans, stirring often, until browned, about 4 minutes. Transfer to plate. - 2
In same skillet over medium-low heat, cook vinegar, sugar, and butter. Add beets.

Cook, stirring often, until beets are heated through and all liquid is absorbed, about 5 minutes. Top with pecans. Serve at once.
