Ever been in a Friday night rut? You know you want a drink to unwind but are too zapped from the work week to decide on wine, beer, a cocktail or scotch on the rocks. Next time, leave all the decision-making to Drinkify.
The site personally crafts a drink based on your music choice. Just plug in the artist or song you’re listening to (or planning to listen to) and it churns out a cocktail to match.
So how does the site figure out what beverage fits your favorite musician? The creators use The Echo Nest, which provides a list of terms to describe the artist, and Last.fm, which hosts the artist/album artwork that accompanies each liquid creation, as well as a “proprietary Drinkify database.”
If you give it a shot, let us know what your music-drink combo is.
