What could be more fun than feeding your beloved an array of fruits dipped in an aphrodisiac cocktail of chocolate, honey, and almonds?

Ingredients

  • 6 tbsp whipping cream
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 7 ounces semisweet or bittersweet chocolate, chopped
  • 1 tbsp kirsch (cherry brandy)
  • 1/4 tsp almond extract
  • Assorted fruits, such as strawberries, raspberries, banana, and peach slices
  • Candied ginger (optional)

    How to make it   30 minutes

    Bring cream and honey to a simmer in a heavy medium saucepan. Add chocolate and whisk until melted. Remove from heat. Whisk in kirsch and almond extract. Pour fondue into a bowl and place in the center of a platter. Surround the fondue bowl with fruit. For a little extra heat, add candied ginger for dipping. Serve with skewers.
