Cranberry-Peanut Cereal BarsNumber of servings: Per square
- 3 cups puffed whole-grain cereal, like Kashi
- 1/2 cup chopped dry-roasted unsalted peanuts
- 1/4 cup chopped unsweetened dried cranberries
- 2 tablespoons ground flaxseed
- 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup agave syrup

Preheat the oven to 350°F. Coat an 8-inch square metal baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.

Stir together the cereal, peanuts, cranberries, and flaxseed in large bowl.

In a small saucepan over low heat, stir together the peanut butter and syrup until the mixture boils, about 1 minute. Stir into the cereal mixture until well-blended. Scrape into the prepared pan and press down firmly with the back of spatula to compact.

Bake until the edges are golden, about 15 minutes. Cool thoroughly before cutting into squares.
