Taco Time Griller Wings Recipe

Using prepared taco-seasoning mix makes these wings a breeze to throw together. Use reduced-salt seasoning, if available. This snack is plenty spicy, but add the cayenne if you want to light more fire.

  • 1 tablespoon plus 2 teaspoons taco-seasoning mix
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • Dash or two of cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 12 wings, cut in half at joints, wing tips removed and discarded

    How to make it

    In a small bowl, stir together the taco-seasoning mix, lime juice, chili powder, and cayenne, if using. Toss the wings in the mixture until they are coated.

    Prepare a gas or charcoal grill for direct cooking. Place the wings on the grill and cook, turning frequently, for 15 to 20 minutes or until done. Makes 24 pieces.
