Let your children pick out some candy each night until all of it has disappeared. Put the rest in containers, out of reach for you as well. You can even arrange a schedule for how your child will eat the candy.

Create a gingerbread house with the leftover candy for your Holiday decorations.

Start a New Tradition
Several parents have children select a few pieces of candy once they return from trick-or-treating. The rest of the candy is disposed and instead children receive a present from either the Great Pumpkin or Halloween fairy.
