No matter how you decide to put away the candy, make sure your children thoroughly brush their teeth after each snack.
Moderation is key.
Let your children pick out some candy each night until all of it has disappeared. Put the rest in containers, out of reach for you as well. You can even arrange a schedule for how your child will eat the candy.
