A recent study of more than 85,000 women found three habits linked to a 25 percent lower risk of developing the disease:
1. Exercising at least moderately for 20 minutes, five days a week.
2. Consuming fewer than seven alcoholic drinks a week.
3. Maintaining a body mass index between 18.5 and 24.9 (that’s under 145 pounds for a five-foot-four woman).
