Reader's Digest strictly enforces a late creative policy as dictated by the IAB T&C’s. Should creative arrive after deadlines mentioned below, agency/advertiser is still responsible for each day media goes up late as a result and will be billed accordingly. Reader's Digest reserves the right to reject creative and/or request revisions to creative as it pertains to content or how they affect page load and layout.

Rich Media/3rd party tags/Standard banners: Email creatives (& questions) to TrafficDept@readersdigest.com. Standard creative must be received within 48 business hours prior to campaign start date. Rich Media/IFRAME/Javascript must be received within 3 - 5 business days prior to campaign start date.

Reader's Digest does not allow billing on 4th party reporting. Please note that any 3rd party rich media ads that are tagged with another form of tracking will be billed based on the 3rd party Rich Media vendor's numbers. Example: Eyeblaster ads that are tagged with the agency's Atlas or DFA tracking will be billed on the Eyeblaster Reports only.

FLASH CLICK THROUGH INSTRUCTIONS
All Flash files must use the ClickTag variable as opposed to hard coding a URL. Please note this example below and instruction:

Add an invisible button making the entire area of the banners clickable. Attach the following object action to the button:

getURL (clickTag, “_blank”);
}

This will embed the clickTag (case sensitive) variable in the FLA file. This allows the click-through URL to be modified at any time during a campaign, as opposed to hard-coding the click command in the .swf file. Target=“_blank” is required as the “Window” field's option when setting the getURL action (“Expression” unchecked).
