Nice ideas....very helpful...all my favorite restaurant foods are no no's - may as well stay home....I try to cut my portion in half and take home for another meal when I splurge on these types of food,

Check out the nutrition information online of the menu of the restaurant that you are going to before you go and choose your dinner then. Ask for a to go box when you get your food and leave only what you should eat on your plate.
