The American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (ACAAI) and its allergist members, doctors who are experts at diagnosing and treating allergies and asthma, know there is no reason to put up with this misery and offer the following tips for survival:

1. Get a flu shot, especially if you have asthma. Because both asthma and the flu are respiratory diseases, people with asthma may have more frequent and severe asthma attacks when they have the flu and are at greater risk for more severe illness and life-threatening complications.

This was a good article and I did the self-test for asthma and allergies. Perhaps it's time for a trip back to the allergist to see if he can do anything to help me. Allergies are not the issue though; asthma and bronchitis are. Nice to know about the plants and humidifier not helping too.
