Un disturbed family life is a rare example.Sweet conjugal relation is based on both side contribution/ sacrifice.Wider contribution will bring out warmer feelings.False vanity or principle will not heal mental injury.A bit violation of family discipline may be ignored and gross one be attempted for amicable solution.
