Great article! I've experienced the first few points myself. Truly the first days are always a nightmare, trying to avoid the things you really like to consume. But every now and then I try to do some light diet just for a couple of days, to keep my weight off, and it really works. Here are some interesting online weight related calculators: http://www.w8loss-tips.com

Try Bach Emotional Eating Support kit. Really helps break that cycle of stress eating and the up/down emotions.

Nice and sensible approach to inching the number on the scales down lower. Nice article. I use a free online food diary at OptimalBodyWeight.com. It is quite new, but I like it - it tells me how many calories I am taking in, and how those calories are made up from fat, carbs and proteins. By understanding that I am slowly learning what works for me and what doesn't.
