Newly Approved Cancer Treatments
This site offers brief descriptions of therapies that have been newly approved for the treatment of cancer by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Sometimes the therapies listed are brand new. Other times, therapies already approved for one use will have received FDA approval for specific, newly documented uses ("indications") in the treatment of cancer.

These summaries highlight recently released results from cancer clinical trials. The findings are significant enough that they are likely to influence your medical care.
American Association for Cancer Research
This organization represents laboratory and clinical scientists engaged in basic, translational and clinical cancer research. AACR's mission is to prevent and cure cancer. Its Scientific Initiatives section
has information about the work of task forces and committees to explore expanded research opportunities and to advance discoveries that lead to greater knowledge and understanding of cancer.
Food and Drug Adminstration's Oncology Tools
This contains a variety of information related to cancer and approved cancer drug therapies. Its Approved Oncology Drugs section has information about approved cancer therapies, product labels, approval summaries, what drugs are approved for what diseases, and considerations for making decisions about therapies, including advice on when to contemplate using unapproved drugs and how to obtain access to unapproved drugs.
