Economy
  • Cut pork-barrel spending and dramatically reform entitlement programs

  • Make Bush tax cuts permanent and simplify tax code

  • Promote trade and commerce with China and the rest of Asia

    Iraq/Iran
  • Maintain U.S. troop levels in Iraq until the country has a stable and secure central government

  • Tighten economic sanctions on Iran and impose diplomatic isolation to pressure Iranian leaders to halt the country’s nuclear program

  • Keep on the table the possibility of military action against Iran

    Immigration
  • Secure borders as a first, critical reform

  • Implement a mandatory biometric and tamper-proof identification system

  • Increase legal immigration into America

    Abortion/Stem Cell
  • Ban abortion except in cases of incest, rape, and to save the life of the mother

  • Outlaw gay marriage

  • Restrict embryonic stem cell research but pursue alternatives, such as the possibility that adult skin cells can be made to act like embryonic stem cells

    Energy
  • Pursue independence from foreign sources of oil

  • Expand search for domestic sources of oil such as in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR) or the Outer Continental Shelf (OCS)

  • Develop alternative sources of energy like biodiesel, ethanol, nuclear, and coal gasification
