Dear Friend,

What's funny about having diabetes? It's a serious condition and certainly not a laughing matter. But research does show that a sense of humor can help people deal with health issues -- and perhaps improve their condition. Having diabetes is stressful. Humor can help to relieve this burden and also defuse fear, especially when you're first diagnosed. Getting the giggles also burns calories, and the more you laugh, the more you burn.

Find out other reasons why laughter is really the best medicine and get tips on how to enhance your sense of humor.

Wishing you lots of laughs,
