you just made me feel so much better about all my years of frustration cutting corners for floor molding. however, my solution for inside and outside corners is much easier than yours. i've gotten real good at caulking and smoothing with a wet finger. kind of like pottery making or smoothing icing. it leaves a seamless corner that paints over well and looks very professional.
