This is a TOTALLY BOGUS story! Since 2005 (and well before!) Premarin Ranchers are not allowed BY THEIR CONTRACTS to sell their foals at killer auctions! Since all of the 30 remaining ranchers are only breeding either purebred or high quality sporthorse horses it is a lie that they need to be "rescued"! I don't know where Ms. Naismith is getting her horses but IT IS NOT FROM A PREMARIN FARMS! Their horse care is HIGHLY regulated and the mares are better cared for than the average Pleasure horse.
