One note about buying in bulk, usually it does save money, but you need to know prices and take a calculator to compare. Also, if you shop at a membership store such as Sam's and Costco, you have to figure in the membership price.
I already buy in bulk, #15. It does help to save money. Queenbee, i found a site like the one you posted, but this one has more info. Its called http://smarthealthbuyer.com. It gives prices for dental like the site you suggested, but also for other things like optical, chiropractic, and more. Just might give you some more info to save money
These are good tips. I recently saved on my dental work after going to this site http://www.dentalpricecompare.com. It gave me what the average going price was for a root canal in my area, and i saw that my dentist was charging me a high price. I then got a second opinion from a different dentist, and got a lower quote. Saved me about $80. not to shabby
I am always amazed at so called financial help that doesn't know spit about treasury. Treasury has rececently changed their policies to allow T-bills, gonds and other securties to be bought in $100 increments, not $1000. You can also purchase savings bonds, and use the C of I part to park some money until you have enough for a savings bond. All of this can be done online thru Treasury Direct without a broker. Its a good thing to know. I-Bonds can be purchased for as little as $25.
