I was looking at your illustration - I don't see any toe board. I understand that isn't allowed in Britain. It might be completely irrelvant but I thought I would let you know!
Or instead of spending all that time and energy setting up traditional scaffolding you could get an X-Deck - a height adjustable pop-open scaffold
