I disagree with #5 (about not giving skim or 1% milk to children under age 5). This information is inaccurate and does not follow national dietary guidelines. All national guidelines and agencies (e.g., AAP, ADA, AHA, USDA, USDHHS, etc.) recommend that 1% or nonfat milk be served to children above the age of 2 in order to reduce their saturated fat intake and prevent type 2 diabetes, heart disease and other chronic diseases, and obesity, which many children develop by the age of 4.
