A Father's Farewell

I'm 31 yrs old I have a couple of tumors in my head, when the doctors broke the news to me I didn't cry, it was only after I told my mom, that I weep like a baby. But after that I decided that nothing could change my life so I decided to be just like RANDY , eventhough I didn't know anything about him. When I watch the LAST LECTURE I was weeping again, I felt that someone understood me. I wish I could talk to Jai and let her know that she did a good job as a Wife. Vladimir Hernandez Miami

This man's bravery knows no boundaries. He has altered my lifestyle. May God bless him and I wish his wife and their 3 children continued good health, happiness and a long life..

Not only was Randy a remarkable, brave soul, but he was someone whom sees everything as a glass half full. He left behind a beautiful family that is probably the proudest family and the most fortunate family in terms of knowing how loved they all were.

What an inspirational man. To face death with loving and living life takes more than most healthy people who don't have cancer. He brings unbelieveable feelings to me as I realize how his attitude kept "up" and how he faced "his time to go" with bravery and also left his family and friends feeling how lucky they were to have him in their life.......as we all did.

This is a man who is all we each wish we could be. I have checked his website and the wed but found nothing on how he is doing. Thoughts and prayers to he and his family. He has blessed all of us with his message.

I heard his last lecture and have seen it numerous times since, I cry everytime. I cry for the time he won't have with his kids (I have six kids of my own). I bought his book and haven't been able to find time to read it yet, but I will soon. God bless you and your family Randy Pausch and thank you for sharing your wisdom with the rest of the world in such a profound way. Your wife and kids are lucky to have such a wonderful husband and father in their life.

I do think Randy has made a huge difference in my life. He made me think would handle such overwhelming news.I dont know but I do pray for Randy"s wife and children daily and as he has said in his book which I have read twice and bought for my dearest friends "Its not the hand you've been dealt ,its how you play your cards".I know we've all heard that but think what he was facing when he coined the phrase!Thank You Randy Pausch you helped me realize how precious our time is now.God Bless!
