I think all those BIG CEOS that robbed us poor taxpayers should have to pay back EVERY SINGLE cent plus interest plus fines AND do prison time. Turn their fancy mansions into low income apartments. Take their off-shore investments with the interest they accumilated tax-free and pay off our national debt.

Make sure that every issue goes beyond the party's election platform. Make sure that every address is all-inclusive. Make sure that every citizen understands the issues, their part in the decision process, and that each executive decision can be shown to be in the nations best interest.

The only single advice I may present that US should concentrate on speedy economic growth inside the country avoiding extravagant spending in its invasion strategy around the world. Wars cost heavy loss US itself and the unfortunate affected region humanity where attacks are undertaken, as in the past Britain (UK) used to do, and to great extent, its nation is believed to repent for such deeds it did.
