One can't give up personal aspirations and priorities to endear oneself to the elders in the family who want to see you only as a homemaker. Strike a balance between career and family life, so that you become a better life partner in the long run.

My argument/dilemma is within myself. Do I choose the "right" thing to do because society says it is, or do I do the "wrong" thing knowing I would be much happier; but I also know I will hurt a lot of people?
