My husband and I have cc debt only when there's O% interest for 12 months and make payments but we always have the money saved to pay the balance off if we had to. We figure why not use the banks money for a while if we can.

$0. We don't have any credit cards. We made a decision 5 years ago to pay off all of our cc's and never go in debt again. We're Dave Ramsey fans and cancelled the cc's at that time. Yes, we've travelled, bought things online, reserved hotel rooms and rented cars since then with no problems. When the economy tanked and cc companies began increasing interest rates and minimum payments we were so happy we'd stuck with our decision!

The bigger the balance on my credit card, the excessive unnecessary shopping. Therefore, I avoid maintaining a very big balance in my credit card.
