That's Gov. Palin, intel1~~she does not have the lowest approval rating among the groups you mentioned, with the exception of blacks.
How can you ignore the record she DOES have?
Why do democrat voters refuse to look at the record of the politician they are supporting?
She's done 4 times what Obama has even thought of doing.
A jr senator, please tell me what he's done, what he's voted for that has his supporters out of the situation they are in?
Tell me how he has united us all, as he says he will?
Have you talked to a liberal recently, as I have, and have you noticed that they are not only angry, they are mean, hateful, and they truely hate anyone who does not vote liberal.
It's sad that our country has come to this, and it's a direct result of the path the democrats have been on for the past 15 yrs, especially the past 8.
No, you don't have to like Pres. Bush, but gut-filled hate, is so unAmerican, it's shameful.
Most of the conservatives I know, and myself as well, didn't like or respect Pres. Clinton, but we didn't start hatefilled websites, and do marches on Washington, as the Hollywood libs did, demanding he be everything from shot to murdered.
That's hate. It's awful and it's dividing us. Not politics, but your party's hatred.
Wait until Obama devastates our businesses and our free market, and then see how many more are divided and hateful.
And, you've played right into their plans. That's exactly what they want.
Then the government will have you needing them 100% and the world will love how weak we have become.
A damn shame, just a damn shame..
For gnats: You are right on! My husband was born in Europe and he repeats what you say. He has kept abreast of world events through dish network and travels there frequently. His first allegiance is to the USA which he loves and defends. He has said all through the years and especially now that Europe and the World do not like the U.S.A. although we are champions to them in times of need. THEY WANT THE USA TO FAIL AND THAT'S WHY THEY LOVE AND WANT OBAMA. Shame on Reader's Digest - after the election I've washed my hands of their propganda - and I will miss some of their magazine but will replace it with one that doesn't try to sway public vote. Thanks for your comments.
We all know that the polls in other countries is prepared mostly by the liberal media.
And when Obama toured there, he knew exactly that THIS is the result he would get.
That said, what Readers Digest didn't inform you of, is, if you go back in history and study the world's opinion on U.S. presidents, democrat or republican, you will find that the presidents that made the tougher decisions, and stood their ground, with their beliefs, were the least liked abroad.
As far as I'm concerned, if the people abroad, think we have a president who's weak on taking specific stands, (in otherwords doesn't take a firm stand on his ideals, WHEN THEY AREN'T POPULAR with the rest of the world, and doesn't make decisoins based on world
polls) they will like him, because they have nothing to fear.
A weak U.S. president is exactly what the terrorists are hoping for.
Of course the international world (or at least the liberal ones you polled), don't preferr McCain............he's been tested, and they know his policies and they know he means what he says.
Obama doesn't mean anything he says.
In one day, in Pennyslvania, I heard him make four different speeches. The democrats are well known for doing that. What ever those constiuents, at that stop, want to hear, and whatever will get their vote, lets promise them what they want.
His character is in full question, yet none of his supporters question it.
They don't care that he's associated, for 30 yrs, with some of the most radical people our nation has seen. The fact that he denies it (now), should be concern for anyone.
He made a speech today. He said he was going to penalize the coal companies, and bring them in line, for the reason that they've poluted over the yrs, and he said, he is advising, right here and now, that future coal companies not bother, because they won't be able to afford his monetary penalties.
In otherwords, he's going to put an industry out of business, along w/10's of 100,000 workers.
Who's next?
Ecclesiastes 10:2 From the Good Book
A wise man's heart directs him toward the right, but the foolish man's heart directs him toward the left.
We saw Palin in NC -- folks were sending streamers from their cell phones to their loved ones in Iraq showing her and there are blogs all over the net with the wonderful responses - the patriotism she brings out in people is incredible. She's hardly dumb. I would say a little smarter than Gaffe Biden. Obama has outstanding oratory skills; he knows how to say it and round up the sheep. Remember, he has the best organizational people behind him and isn't running this campaign by himself. He can hardly bring these campaign managers into the White House to tell him what to say and do. It's a scary thought of whom he will bring into the White House, based on his associations.
I've never seen and intel1 - you haven't either - the feeling of love for America and patriotism that McCain and Palin bring out in Americans. It's not there in your camp, it's just not there. It's not there - because Obama doesn't have it. He's a fractured American - he wasn't brought up here and his allegiance is quesitonable. He is not a patriot. An American President should be a patriot. I voted Mc-Cain-Palin.
I guess it takes one to know one. You think she'd be a bad VP because she's "dumb"? That's an ignorant statement. She is the first ever female governor of Alaska. She was a town mayor for 4 years, and as mayor she was appointed ethics commissioner of the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission. According to TIME, "Palin has enjoyed approval ratings in Alaska as high as 90%." She is also a wife and mother of 5 children. But you're right, she must be dumb.
Umm...do I want to base my decision on experience that DOES EXIST -- of course! Clearly his naval honors (the Silver Star, Bronze Star, Legion of Merit, Purple Heart, and the Distinguished Flying Cross) mean nothing to you. He was allowed many chances to go home and to flee torture and possible death, but he stayed? Why? Because he loved his country. This is proof that McCain knows what war entails, and will do whatever it takes to protect the US, even if it means risking his own life.
He's also had a seat in the House for several years, was reelected to the Senate 3x, and wrote a few books in his spare time.
I like how the Merriam-Webster dictionary defined the word LEAD: "to guide on a way especially by going in advance". McCain has been there, McCain has experience, therefore he IS a proven leader. Do you want your leader to have a vision, knowledge and experience of where to go? Or should he stop along the way and ask "is this the right way?"
By the way, you are sounding just like Obama "called upon the most intelligent minds and economists...". All eloquent bullshit. It sounds like you are a hypocrite, because you are also "stubborn and thinking [your] way is the only way."
