Music greats from the 60's and 70's are still going strong today.

Check out what your favorite artists are up to these days.

Bob Dylan. In August he released No Direction Home: The Soundtrack, a dual-CD companion to Martin Scorsese's two-part film portrait shown in September. Also just out: The Bob Dylan Scrapbook: 1956-1966, with rare photos and handwritten lyrics. Chronicles, part one of Dylan's autobiography, was published last year to critical acclaim.

The Rolling Stones. Still rockin', rollin' and tourin', they've just released A Bigger Bang, their first studio album in eight years.

Carole King. She hit the Billboard charts this summer with a two-CD set, The Living Room Tour, containing seven hits from her four-decade career. She's touring again too.

Brian Wilson. In October, the genius behind the Beach Boys released a solo album of holiday music, What I Really Want for Christmas. It includes new versions of two 1964 Beach Boys Yule classics.

Carly Simon. An elegant collection of standards, the singer and songwriter's dual-disc Moonlight Serenade came out this summer.

Stephen Stills. The former CSN&Y star's first solo album in 14 years, Man Alive!, out in August, featured former bandmates Graham Nash and Neil Young, plus jazz great Herbie Hancock.

Neil Young. Last year he rallied from surgery for a brain aneurysm to finish Prairie Wind, a country-flavored album out in September. This month brings Neil Young Nation, a travelogue of his former haunts by Kevin Chong. And in early 2006, a concert film shot by Jonathan Demme will be released.

Donovan. The '60s balladeer resurfaced last year with the rock-jazz album Beat Cafe. In September, he released a four-CD set celebrating 40 years of recording, and this month his autobiography arrives.

Michael McDonald. The former Doobie Brother is the featured artist on Hallmark Music's Through the Many Winters, A Christmas Album. His Ultimate Collection, with hits from 1976 on, went on sale in August.

Peter Frampton. Last fall Frampton brought out his 2004 summer tour album. An all-instrumental CD is due in 2006.
